God & Girlfriends is Bethany Assembly of God’s unique Women’s Ministry. Our leaders Sue Gerrity, Kay McLeskey, Norma Roe, Rebekah Hildebrandt, Jen Lee and Judy Ackley are committed to reaching out to others with the love of Jesus.
“Ahhhhhhh,…..Heart Spa……where women can be refreshed in Jesus!” Take a deep breath & relax the second Friday of each month from 7-9p.m. Come join us for friendship & spiritual refreshment! Women of all ages are welcome! In October we will be partnering with Cato for a Ladies Fashion Show! It will be October 12th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Women of all ages are welcome. Cato offers a variety of sizes. Door prizes and gifts will also be available.
“I Can” Women’s Weekly Encouragement Hour meets Sundays at 9:45a.m. in room 222. Based on Philippians 4:13, this class encourages each woman to see herself as God does & motivates her to do “all things” through Him! The co-encouragers for this time are Diane Noce, Joy Peck, Michelle Gray & Sue Gerrity.
“You Can” be there Sunday morning as we dive into a Beth Moore weekly Bible Study viedo series that guides believers to love and live God's Word. This class continues to encourage women to Christ through His Word. Coming in March 2008 we will begin the "Far Above Rubies" study that is based on Proverbs 31.
‘Stirred with Love’ Coffee Hour meets on the third Thursday morning of every month at 10a.m. Come see what Kay McLeskey brews up! Fellowship, food, & fun are stirred in with devotionals, crafts & workshops! Oh, did I mention the coffee???
Coming Soon...."Snuff Out Cancer" This is an outreach to the community to tell cancer patients, "We care!" with a friendship driven prayer outreach designed for them and their loved ones. "Snuff Out Cancer" will be open to invite the public and give useful information to patients and friends.
Also Coming Soon...."Fresh brewed Faith" Plan to join us for a bi-monthly Bible Study that will freshen your faith. It will be a place for women looking for an interactive, relational study of God's Word. Children will be welcomed. Let Sue Gerrity know if you brew up some ideas of your own to help this get started.
