EVERY WEEK AT BETHANY, YOUR GENEROSITY IS GIVING PEOPLE THE OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE ONE STEP CLOSER.
If you're new to Bethany, we don't want you to feel any pressure to give. If you've been attending Bethany for a little while and you have not yet taken the next step of becoming a tither, we want to encourage you to pray about taking that next step. Maybe you're not sure about tithing and whether or not it "works." We believe so strongly in tithing that we want to challenge you to put God to the test. Click on the 90 Day Challenge to discover how serious we are!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
How much should I give?
Some might answer with, "that's between you and God," but as we read the Scriptures, we find both precedent and mandate which would govern the giving of our resources to the work of the Lord. First, we believe wholeheartedly in the tithe which is the first 10% of our gross income as belonging to the Lord. (Malachi 3:10) promises that if we would bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, God would open up the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing - more than we could even contain! (Click HERE to learn about the 90 Day Challenge) Secondly, the New Testament introduces a new concept when it comes to our giving - generosity. Yes, we give our tithe as an act of worship and obedience but we also are called to give cheerfully (2 Corinthians 9:7) and out of a generous heart towards the ministry (missions, benevolence, special offerings, etc.) This type of giving would be over and above the tithe.
I can't even remember to pay my bills on time. Can I set up recurring giving automatically?
We get it - in between work, school, sporting events, and band concerts, life can be busy. Secure Give offers the option of setting up recurring contributions. With automated contributions, you can eliminate the hassles of postage, mail delays, and check writing and be assured of timely receipt of contributions.
How do I get a statement or receipt of my donations this year?
We mail out quarterly statements of your contributions throughout the year. But you can also track your online giving via your user profile on CCB (Church Community Builder).
Is all of this safe?
Absolutely. Your information is held securely by our CCB system. This information will remain private and will never be given away to third parties, other than to process your scheduled contributions.
I still have questions. Who can I contact?
If you have any problems or questions related to giving, please contact our finance team by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, or calling 517.263.2779.
