+ How much should I give?
Some might answer with, "that's between you and God," but as we read the Scriptures, we find both precedent and mandate which would govern the giving of our resources to the work of the Lord. First, we believe wholeheartedly in the tithe which is the first 10% of our gross income as belonging to the Lord. In the Bible there is a promise in Malachi 3:10 that says if we would bring the whole tithe into the storehouse (the Church), God would open up the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing - more than we could even contain! Secondly, the New Testament introduces a new concept when it comes to our giving - generosity. Yes, we give our tithe as an act of worship and obedience but we also are called to give cheerfully (2 Corinthians 9:7) and out of a generous heart towards ministry (missions works, benevolence, special offerings, etc.) This type of giving would be over and above the tithe.
+ Can I set up automatic recurring giving?
We get it - in between work, school, sporting events, and band concerts, life can be busy. Our secure giving platform offers the option of setting up recurring contributions. With automated contributions, you can eliminate the hassles of postage, mail delays, and check writing and be assured of timely receipt of contributions.
+ How do I get a statement or receipt of my donations this year?
We mail out quarterly statements of your contributions throughout the year. But you can also track your online giving via your user profile on CCB (Church Community Builder).
+ Is all of this safe?
Absolutely. Your information is held securely by our CCB system. This information will remain private and will never be given away to third parties, other than to process your scheduled contributions.
+ I still have questions. Who can I contact?
If you have any problems or questions related to giving, please contact our finance team by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, or calling 517.263.2779.
