Bethany Facilities Plan

In order to protect the safety of our partners and guests, the following accommodations have been made:
Screening will take place outside the main entrance, under the carport;
The church foyer is restricted to greeting, intake, and exit;
The upper and lower levels are closed off;
Surfaces are sanitized regularly before, between, and after gatherings;
Info-graphic signs are posted in visible areas reminding guests to observe best practices.
To limit our seating capacity to 50%, alternate rows will be used for each Gathering. Unused chairs will be blocked off during the Gathering so that guests are seated in every other row.

General Guidelines
The purpose of the Facilities plan is to prevent transmission of the novel coronavirus by asymptomatic carriers. Here are guidelines to reinforce that objective:
Households are encouraged to sit together since they have been in close proximity due to the Stay At Home order.
Friends that meet together in groups should stay near to those they regularly encounter, while maintaining social distancing.
Elderly congregants -- or those who are at risk of developing severe symptoms if infected -- are encouraged to watch online.
Attendees are invited to converse with each other outside of the building.

Phase Two: Family Gatherings Layout

Screening occurs outside the building; once a guest is admitted, he or she is free to move throughout the building. Sanctuary seating is limited to 50% capacity; overflow seating is available in the Event Center, conveniently located adjacent to our restrooms. Offering is available for drop-off at the rear of the Sanctuary and near the Event Center exit. Families with young children are welcome to sit at our Activity Tables in the Event Center; Bethany Kids Activity Kits will be distributed to keep kids occupied during the Gathering. Mingling inside the building is discouraged; guests are invited to connect with each other outside at the Next Steps Tents.
